Crystal Gayle

Crystal Gayle is my #1 favorite singer.  "She has the voice of an opera star and the soul of a blues singer," as one writer said.   Crystal has had 18 #1 hits and many other Top 5 and Top 10 hits.  She has won numerous awards including ACM awards, CMA awards, and a Grammy.  Her voice is that of a songbird and not many can compare with with the strength that lies within.  Her talent is endless and she still is a force in Country Music.  Recently, she just collaborated with FIZZ on a dance remake of her 70's classic "When I Dream."   Click on the image for more information about the "When I Dream" single, her latest CDs, and for Gayle Enterprises!

Sylvia

The 80's was the decade where Country Music started really moving towards female vocalists.  One of the best talents to emerge during this time was Sylvia.   Her most well known song is "Nobody," which was the song that helped to earn her an ACM Award for Best Female Vocalist in 1983 and helped me to deem her tied with Crystal Gayle as my #1 favorite singer.  She recorded well into the mid-80's, but then gave it all up, wanting more control over her music.  Now, Sylvia is back and better than ever with her new album, "The Real Story."  Click on the picture to visit my site for her, including links to her homepage and to order her newest CDs, The Real Story and her collection of hits, Anthology.

Sheena Easton

Sheena was a big success in the 1980's and continues to soar in the 1990's.  Most people will either remember "My baby takes the morning train," or "Strut, pout, put it out."   Her music is well known and her image is known just as well.  Among my favorite songs of hers are "Almost Over You", "Strut", and "101".   Recently, Sheena just released Freedom on MCA Japan.  This new album is one of the best ones that she has put together in her 17 year career.  It features wonderful remakes, touching ballads, and a great remix of her hit "Modern Girl."  Click on the image for more Sheena Easton information from my site dedicated to her which includes links to other Sheena Easton sites and a link to order her new CD Freedom.

Olivia Newton-John

One word: WOW!  That would sum up what Olivia's music does to me.  She possesses so much talent, fabulous beauty, and a wonderful personality.   Olivia is now dominating her third decade here.  In the 70's, she was a crossover success and a queen of the box office.  In the 80's, she attained a new look and dominated record sales with such hits as "Physical" and "Magic" (my personal favorite).  Now, in the 90's, she is back with the 20th anniversary of Grease and a new remake of "I Honestly Love You" off her new CD, Back With A Heart.  Needless to say, this is one diva that can stand any test of time.  Click the pic to get the most up to date information on my "Magic" diva!
