What kind of fool lets his heart rule over his mind
Knowing all too well of the trouble that lies ahead
And all of the challenges that will be faced
But never completed and never to see victory?
What kind of fool lets others dictate how he is to feel
About certain people that he truly cares about
And lets others dictate what his lifestyle is
Regarding who he does love and who he does live for?
What kind of fool allows people to walk all over him
With intentions of just being out to harm him
And he never puts up the fight in defense
But lets those people continue to tear down all his defenses?
What kind of fool does not have the sense to come in from the rain
Where everyone is constantly insulting and putting him down
To depths that no mortal human should ever have to experience
And is then unable to pull himself back up to where he needs to be?
The kind of fool that lets his heart rule over his mind,
That lets others dictate his feelings and emotions,
That lets people walk over him with not a single push back,
That continually gets rained on can be found in one person, me.
