Nobody ever before,

Has ever allowed the real me,

The person that beats in my heart,

To ever shine and live,

But, that person will be here now,

And will remain forever.

You have taught me how to live,

Letting me know that we all go up,

Just as we all will come down,

And there is nothing wrong with that part of life.

You have taught me how to live,

By making me realize life really is a game,

Where we are really in control of who we are,

And what we actually do.

By looking past my faults,

Seeing all the good that I can do,

And taking that good to make my weaknesses positives.

Letting me know that I am a unique person,

That no one is as special as I can be,

And that what I believe in will not be outdated.

With the passing of time,
